Location of Southern Cross Horse Treks:
The Southern Cross Horse Treks' Horse Farm "Kerewong" is situated on the New South Wales Mid North Coast, south of Port Macquarie, on Australia's East Coast between Sydney and Bisbane.
Kerewong Horse Farm lies in the beautiful Lorne Valley, near the small town of Kendall in the hinterland of the Camden Haven - Greater Port Macquarie Region, 30 km from east coast beaches between Taree and Port Macquarie.
If travelling north from Sydney by car, the journey takes 4 hours along the Pacific Highway (a distance of 360 km).
The coastal town of Port Macquarie is 45 minutes north by car (50 km).

Getting To Southern Cross Horse Treks:
Southern Cross Horse Treks is within easy reach for International, Interstate and local NSW horse riders.
Sydney and Brisbane have daily direct flights to/ from Port Macquarie and the daily trains that run between Sydney and Brisbane stop at Kendall train station.
Southern Cross Horse Treks arranges pick-up and drop off transfers on fixed times for Port Macquarie airport and Kendall train station. Unless you have a car you will need the transfers, as there is no public transport past Kendall and the distance make taxi's very expensive for taxi's.

By Air:
Nearest International Airports are Sydney (370 km) and Brisbane (580 km).
Nearest Domestic Airport is Port Macquarie with Qantas Airlines and Virgin Australia offering several flights daily connecting Port Macquarie with Sydney (1 hour flight) and Brisbane (1.5 hour flight). Southern Cross Horse Treks arranges the transfer to / from Port Macquarie on fixed times (transfer time between Port Macquarie and Kerewong Farm is 45 minutes).
By Train:
Daily Trains from Sydney or Brisbane to/ from Kendall. Southern Cross Horse Treks arranges the transfer to/ from Kendall Railway Station (transfer time between Kendall and Kerewong Horse Farm is 20 minutes).
By Car:
From Sydney - travel time 4 hours: Please follow the instructions below. GPS navigation systems will direct drivers to take the Moorland exit which takes you on a rough gravel road. It is recommended to stay on the highway until the Kew / Laurieton exit.
Follow Pacific Highway north. Between Taree and Port Macquarie take the highway exit for Kew / Laurieton. At the roundabout in Kew, turn LEFT towards Kendall and Comboyne. ** Follow this road for approx. 16 km (approx 20 mins). You come through the little town of Kendall and continue to follow the road towards Comboyne. After you've passed the Lorne Macadamia Farm and crossed a bridge, turn into the first road on the right (Tipperary Road). Southern Cross Horse Treks is located 3 km along this road on the right hand side at number 322, "Kerewong".
Coming from the North (Brisbane - travel time 6 hours; Port Macquarie - travel time 45 minutes), follow the Pacific Highway south past Port Macquarie & towards Taree / Sydney. Take the highway exit for Kew / Laurieton. At the roundabout, turn right towards Kew and Kendall. At the roundabout in Kew, go straight ahead towards Kendall & Comboyne. **Follow instructions above from Kendall.
